Proud Mary is one of our favorite local woman-owned brands! They partner with small artisan groups in developing countries, using traditional methods to design modern clothing and accessories. This Knit Huipile Top is 100% alpaca and made by artisans in Bolivia...and we seriously cannot get enough of it. Scrap the mall sweaters and gift this beautiful and ethically-made top instead.
If you made it to our Sip & Shop with local woodworker Ashley Harwood, you know just how badass these ornaments are. She is a master wood turner, crafting these intricate spindles and combining them with sea urchins to create the perfect Charleston ornament. You'll want to leave it hanging all year-round. Another local brand we LOVE! Ink Meets Paper uses age-old letterpress techniques to design hand-made paper goods and stationery. Their Social Stationery card collections are the perfect way to send a love note, say hello to a friend, or just live out the motto "text less, write more." We want one of every set in our stocking, please!
Okay, so not technically a local product, but Andy recently got a manicure from the amazing team at Gibson Hair & Makeup and immediately became obsessed with Oribe's Lacquer High Shine nail polish. It's an super long-wear polish that delivers chip-resistant, fade-proof shine....AKA our leather tools have finally met their match! You can purchase it locally at Gibson for $32!
Buying a gift for the boho-chic home? Sunwoven is another woman-owned creative business; the owner Erin is known for her incredible hand woven wall hangings, but we also love these new pillows! Each one is hand woven and hand sewn and takes about 5-8 hours to complete. They're the perfect way to give the gift of handmade.
Last but not least, the Jahde Made George Cuff. We overlay a raw brass cuff with leather, and top it with contrasting hand-cut fringe for a pop of color. Like everything in our shop, it's completely made by hand in Charleston. Comes in three different color variations and can be scooped up here!
